another outing wib da peeps in ramenten today.... to nite safari ...hehe cuz liling havent been there b4 .... there wasnt much people who went cuz things crop up suddenly for them ... ( tuh bad =[ ) ... in the end were 6 of us... me liling, mingyao and his gf, chuan and serena(d2)...
tickets for adults cost abt $28 with the tram ride .... and prices are inclusive of 5% Gst

As it was aready towards 9pm, we decided to go to the amphithreatre for the Night Show. It was a 30 mins of performance by the zoo's rangers and some of the animals that include hyenas, racoons and wolves....the show mainly demostrated the behaviour and abilities of the various animals at night......
Before the night show commenced... we were informed that strictly no flash pho
totaking will be allowed... and to stress her case, the zoo ranger even went around the audience to request for other languages of "NO FLASH"...heres a pic showing da zoo ranger ...
BUT... when the show started, some joker in the crowd snap 2 shots with his flash !!!! what to do ? what a mood killer...
Using ur camera will not only hurt the animals in the zoo... it will oso provoke them and they might turn hostile... sigh =(
We were aready prepare for the show, mingyo and the rest have gotten their tibits to munch on while watching the show ... wahahahs look at them !4 happy but hungry faces ! ahahahz happy couples smiles ya = )

Coming right next was a performance by erm some sort of a rat/raccon ? im not sure though didnt quite pay attention to the introduction, as i was buzy snapping pictures... people around me were pointing and saying "cute cute cute , there there there!~~ "
it tested the animals ability to sort out man's everyday rubbish... i think they were promoting us to reuse , reduce and recycle....
the zoo ranger was telling the animal as if telling a little baby to do sth... "ok, the plastic bottles goes into the plastic bins...... very good ! blah blah blah....." i tot it was quite amusing to watch them scurrying about.. hahahahz =x
quite an amusing show afterall , only that it was a bit short...
after that, we decided to take the tram ride... the queue for the ride was quite short so we figured why not ..... the tram took about 45 mins, covering abt 3.2km of road.... it moves in a circle, running thru the East and the West Loops... Heres a picture of the map and the trails

Theres was this zoo ranger who explained the various nocturnal animals that were living in the areas.... we went thru marshlands and deep rainforests... we saw huge animals like huge indians buffaloes, wolves and giant elephants...small ones were more of flamingoes...malayan wild boars...Overall... i tot that the ride was abit dark, if not we would be able to see much more of the wildlife rather den a few black shadows flashing by us =/ truly a mood killer...hey ! its not call night safari for nth right ?
after we finally got off the tram, we decided to do a few more sightseeing on foot.... so the 6 of us ventured into the dark but fortunately dim litted walking trails.....we got to see flying bats...leopards and other whose names i cant even spell ....i wanted to take soem photographs but the NO FLASH sigh was everywhere i go ...damn =( Along the trails , there were many safari rangers situated at various positions... they were to ensure that u wun get "lost"....^_^
When we finally get back to the main entrance , the time was aready 12 plus.... we decided to snoop arnd da souveniur shops and taking some photos b4 we went back....
everyone was hungry, so we decided to have supper back at amk s11... it was my breakfast for me.. since i didnt really had anything to eat the whole day =[....
after that , everyone went home, tires but happy ? ahahahz =D
